Description
Soft, pillowy rolls made with canned biscuit dough, filled with a creamy vanilla pudding and cream cheese mixture, topped with cinnamon sugar and baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (approx. 12-16 oz) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Separate the biscuits and roll each one out on a floured surface to about 6 inches in diameter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the instant pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Fold in the softened cream cheese and mashed bananas until well combined.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the pudding mixture into the center of each biscuit.
- Place a few slices of banana on top of the filling, then roll the biscuit tightly and pinch the seam to seal.
- Place rolls seam-side down in the baking dish, touching each other.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the rolls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Cool in the dish for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Do not overfill the rolls to prevent leaking. Let cool for 5 minutes to allow filling to set. Can be frozen before baking.
