Description
Recreate the beloved Chick-fil-A Peach Milkshake at home with this easy, 5-minute recipe using simple pantry staples like vanilla ice cream, milk, and fresh or canned peaches for a creamy, refreshing treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 cups high-quality vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1–2 cups fresh or canned peaches (peeled and chopped if fresh; drained if canned)
- 1/2 to 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional, for thickening)
- Honey or simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
Instructions
- Prepare the peaches: If using fresh peaches, wash, pit, peel (if skin is tough), and chop into chunks. If using canned peaches, drain well and pat dry to remove excess syrup.
- Soften the vanilla ice cream by letting it sit on the counter for 10-15 minutes until scoopable but not melted.
- Add the softened ice cream, peach chunks, whole milk, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on low speed to break up the ice cream, then gradually increase to high. Blend for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust consistency: Add more milk if too thick, more ice cream if too thin, or honey/syrup if more sweetness is desired. Add ice cubes if a colder, thicker texture is preferred.
- Serve immediately in chilled glasses, optionally topped with whipped cream, a peach slice, or a cherry.
Notes
Chill glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes before serving to keep the shake cold longer. Do not over-blend to avoid incorporating too much air. For a thicker shake, use frozen peach chunks instead of fresh. Ensure ice cream is softened to prevent blender strain.
